Privacy Policy
Last updated June 2026
PsychDispatch (“we”, “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of clinicians and their patients. This policy explains how we handle personal information and health information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Information we collect
- Waitlist details. If you join our waitlist we collect your email address and, optionally, your name.
- Account information. When you use the product, we collect account and billing details needed to provide the service.
- Clinical content. Consultation audio, transcripts, notes and correspondence you create within the platform.
De-identification and AI processing
Consultation transcripts are passed through a de-identification pipeline to remove identifying details before any content is sent to our AI model providers for drafting. The platform is designed so that AI assists with drafting and formatting only — it does not make clinical determinations.
How we use information
We use personal information to provide and improve the service, to communicate with you, and to meet our legal obligations. Health information is used solely to deliver the documentation and correspondence features you request.
Storage and data residency
Patient data is hosted in Australia. We apply technical and organisational safeguards including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and single-use, verified links for document delivery.
Disclosure (APP 6 & APP 8)
We do not sell personal information. We disclose information only as needed to operate the service (for example, to infrastructure providers under contract) or where required by law, consistent with APP 6 and APP 8.
Your rights
You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. To make a request or raise a privacy concern, contact us at privacy@psychdispatch.com.au.
