Letter software built for psychiatry. From the consult to the GP’s inbox.
Most medical letter software is a template with blanks. Psychiatry letter software has to draft the letter from what was said in the room, in your voice, across the letter and report types Australian psychiatrists actually write, check every claim, put it on your letterhead, and send it somewhere secure that a GP can open without an account. PsychDispatch does all of that in one flow.

Five stages. One flow. No copying and pasting between them.
Each stage is where a scribe, a template or a dictation service would hand the job back to you. Here they run on.
Drafted from the consult, in your style
The transcript of the consultation becomes the letter: the formulation, the plan, the medication changes and the follow-up, written in your personal letter style, learned from a few of your own letters, for whichever of the 65+ letter and report types the situation calls for.
Verified, claim by claim
Every clinical statement in the draft is traced back to what was said. Anything that cannot be traced is flagged for you rather than smoothed into the prose, and there are hard guards against invented clinical statements.
Placed on your letterhead
Your own Word letterhead, rendered exactly. The letter's date is yours to choose at the preview (the day it was written, today, or a date you set), the addressee on the letter is the one you stored for them, and any cc line sits after your signature where it belongs.
Sent securely, in one click
A secure email carrying a single-use encrypted link. The recipient confirms their email address with a one-time code and opens the letter; no account, no portal, no fax. Each recipient is sent to individually.
Tracked, filed and answered
Signed off, PDF built, sent, delivered: each recipient's status is visible in the Dispatch Centre, and replies route back to the letter they concern, with reply notes kept alongside it.
65 letter and report types. Every one Australian.
The presets below are the real library, not a curated sample. Every one is customisable in the template studio, and a custom letter covers anything that isn’t here yet.

Your letters, in your voice, on your paper.
The details that make a letter recognisably yours are the details generic tools flatten. These are kept.
Your voice, not a template's
Upload a few of your own letters and the drafting learns from them: the phrasing you would use, the structure you favour, the level of detail you give. From then on the GP reads a letter from you, not a form filled in by software, and you can refine the style any time by adding more.
Your templates, imported
Bring an existing Word letter and it becomes a reusable template: the converter keeps your headers on the first page only, preserves your signature image, and drops stray cc lines. Every preset is editable in the template studio, and you can build your own from scratch.
Australian English, enforced
Spelling and usage are held to Australian English throughout, and MBS-linked letters (the 291 assessment and management plan, the 293 review) are presets rather than afterthoughts.
Questions psychiatrists ask about the letters.
Does it work with my existing letterhead?
Yes. Upload your own Word letterhead once and every letter is rendered onto it exactly, with your signature where you put it.
Can I turn my own letters into templates?
Yes. Import an existing Word letter and it becomes a reusable template. The converter keeps your headers on the first page only, preserves your signature image and removes stray cc lines. Every one of the built-in presets can also be customised in the template studio.
How does it write in my voice?
From your own letters. Upload a few you are happy with and the drafting takes its phrasing, structure and level of detail from them, rather than from a generic template. Add more at any time to refine it.
Which letter and report types are included?
65 presets, from GP correspondence and the MBS 291 and 293 plans to WorkCover, NDIS, Centrelink, insurance and DVA reports, S8 stimulant permit support, shared-care arrangements, fitness to drive, medico-legal and tribunal reports, plus a custom letter for anything else.
How does the GP open the letter?
They receive a secure email with a single-use encrypted link, confirm their email address with a one-time code, and the letter opens. No account, no portal, no fax. You can also send the letter as a PDF, and you see each recipient's delivery status as it happens.
Can the recipient reply?
Yes. Replies route back to the letter they concern, and reply notes are kept alongside it, so the conversation about a patient stays attached to the correspondence about them.
What does verification actually check?
Every clinical claim in the draft is traced to the transcript of the consultation. Statements that cannot be traced are flagged before you sign off, and there are hard guards against invented clinical statements. Nothing is sent until you have signed it off.
What does it cost?
Two tiers with every feature in both, including every letter type: Pro at AU$129.99 a month and Max at AU$199.99 a month, differing only in included usage. Prices include GST where applicable. Joining the waitlist reserves founding pricing.
The letter, finished and sent. Not a note to paste.
